How to recognize the Pach Artifact room
If you see a Water puzzle with two sensor areas that must feed the final gate, you're in Pach.
You're in Pach if you see:
- ✓Water routing area
- ✓Two separate sensor zones
- ✓Buildable routing space
- ✓Artifact behind several final gates

What is the Pach puzzle goal?
Reach the Artifact by completing the room’s Water condition. The two sensor areas are part of that condition — watch how the room treats progress as you fill them.

How much help do you want?

Hint
Watch what changes when one sensor is full. Does the room behave as if that progress is being remembered?
Strong hint
No — both conditions must remain active together. Use Foundation to route and retain Water instead of treating the first sensor as a checkpoint.

Key idea
Sensor A is a reservoir, not a checkpoint.
- Fill A.
- Keep A full.
- Then fill B.
Fill it, keep it filled, then work on Sensor B.
Water entering the return path is not necessarily lost. Watch where it comes back before rebuilding the room.

Why use Foundation in Pach?
Foundation — Recommended
- ✓Redirect Water
- ✓Hold Water in a sensor
- ✓Block unwanted flow
- ✓Preserve puzzle material
How do the Pach sensors work?
A sensor must remain completely filled to stay active. “Almost full” does not count.
Both sensors must be fully active at the same time.
Not enough
✕ Sensor inactive
Full
✓ Sensor active
What can break your Pach setup?
- ✕Drain Sensor A
- ✕Waste Water
- ✕Block the return path
- ✕Let Water escape
The Water supply is limited enough that wasting it can make the room much harder to recover. Route first, then release Water.

Pach puzzle recovery
- Water still available
- → Simplify the Foundation route.
- Water in return path
- → Wait and recover the returned flow.
- Water trapped elsewhere
- → Redirect it before releasing more.
- Water appears gone
- → Stop changing the room and review recovery options.
How do you know Pach is solved?
- ✓Sensor A stays full
- ✓Sensor B stays full
- ✓Both are active together
- ✓Gates open
- ✓Artifact is reachable
After you collect the Artifact
The Artifact feeds into the broader Augment progression. If you're clearing every room, mark Pach as completed and return to the Artifact Solver to find what's left.

Common Pach questions
General questions
What do I do if I run out of Water?+−
First check whether the Water has returned elsewhere in the room or become trapped in another route before assuming it is gone.
Spoiler questions
SpoilerHow do you solve the Pach Artifact puzzle?+−
Use Foundation to route Water into Sensor A and keep it filled, then fill Sensor B. Both sensor areas must stay fully filled at the same time so the final gates open.
SpoilerDo both Pach sensors need to be filled at the same time?+−
Yes. Both sensor areas need to remain fully filled at the same time for the final gates to stay open.
SpoilerWhy does the door stay closed when the sensors look full?+−
Check that neither sensor has partially emptied. A sensor that only looks mostly full may not remain active.
