How does Sandustry Machine Doctor work?+−
Choose the machine and the symptom you see. The Doctor asks a short set of checks, then shows the likely cause, a fix, and a factory flow diagram.
What should I check first when a machine stops working?+−
Start with the machine-specific first check: Gold on a Kinetic Press, Heat on a Smelter, a full Florinol batch and Energy on a Synthesizer, Wet Seed and output space on a Planter Box.
Why does a machine receive material but do nothing?+−
It often still lacks a complete batch, Energy or Heat, or the output has nowhere to go. Idle does not always mean the machine is broken.
Can Machine Doctor tell me why a machine is still locked?+−
No. A locked machine is an unlock problem. Machine Doctor will send you to Research Planner instead of guessing a factory fault.
Does Machine Doctor read my game save?+−
No. Diagnosis is based on the machine, symptom and progress information you choose on the site.
