  • Processed locally in your browser
  • Your save is not uploaded
  • Nothing is changed in your game

Your save stays on your device. SandustryHelp reads it locally in your browser and never modifies it.

Supported saves can provide progression, resources, Peak Energy, Research summaries, collection progress, upgrades, drones and factory snapshot health.

    Research and available buildings

  • 03

How to use the analyzer

Choose an exported Sandustry .save file. The analyzer opens it in this browser tab, builds a private in-memory summary and links supported results to the matching guide.

Is my save uploaded?

No. File reading and analysis happen locally in your browser. The raw save is not stored in localStorage and is cleared when you refresh or leave the page.

Why can't the analyzer read my save?

Damaged files and unsupported older or newer formats may not contain every expected field. The analyzer preserves basic information when it can and never invents missing progress.

Common Sandustry save questions

Does SandustryHelp upload my save?+

No. The analyzer reads the file locally in your browser.

Does the analyzer change my save?+

No. It only reads the file and keeps the current analysis in memory.

What can it detect?+

It can detect supported progression, resources, Peak Energy, Research, collections, upgrades and factory snapshot problems such as missing Energy, incomplete machine inputs, pipe routes and Logic wiring.

Why are some sections unavailable?+

A save may use another format or may not record every supported field. Unknown values remain unavailable rather than being treated as incomplete.

Can it tell me exactly what to do next?+

When the relevant progression state is present, it can point to the next requirement and the matching guide or planner.

Can it tell me my current Copper per second?+

No. A save is a factory snapshot, not live telemetry. Use Production Planner Rate Mode for theoretical capacity.

Factory snapshot diagnostics are implemented against the recovered 0.5.6b schema. Final validation with a real exported save is still pending before public launch.
