Fluxite is spent on tool, weapon and drone upgrades. Each path has its own confirmed levels and costs. A maxed path is not recommended again.
Artifact Augments unlock through Artifact progression and pending choices. They are not bought with the same Fluxite budget as shovel, gun or drone upgrades.
If a save records current levels, use that state before optimizing. If it does not, leave current upgrades unset rather than pretending they are level 0.

What should I upgrade first in Sandustry?+−
The best upgrade depends on what you're doing next. Mining should prioritize excavation. Exploration should prioritize movement and scanner utility. Combat should prioritize weapons. Automation should prioritize drones and handling.
Are Fluxite upgrades and Artifact Augments the same system?+−
No. Fluxite upgrades improve tools, weapons and drones. Artifact Augments are a separate progression and choice system unlocked through Artifacts.
Can I load my current upgrades from a save?+−
Yes. Analyze a save first, then use that recorded Fluxite and upgrade state here. Manual edits are never overwritten silently.
What if I do not have enough Fluxite?+−
The planner shows how short the plan is and can send you to the Fluxite production planner for the remaining amount.
Why are some upgrade paths listed without a cost?+−
Those paths are known from current save data, but this site only publishes a purchase cost when that cost is confirmed. They can be browsed, not bought in the plan.
